MUSIC NOTES Glenwood’s K-6 choir sang four songs and recited Bible verses on March 16 during the morning worship service. They did a great job, and everyone enjoyed their program of praise! Choir members and several parents and grandparents also enjoyed the outing at McDonald’s after church. Thanks to Pastor Mark and Sandy for joining as well. The adult choir did special music entitled The Love of Jesus on Easter Sunday morning. I cannot say enough about the choir and how hard they work and how much dedication and love of Jesus they have in their hearts which is the most important thing! Thanks to Carolyn McDonald for doing the sound and to Bob Crouse and Lanny Lewis for doing the narration. You did a great job! We were blessed with a wonderful message from Pastor Mark, as we are during every service. The choir will continue to share with our congregation songs from Mike Speck’s Heaven musical, which we learned for the Bailey Smith Real Evangelism Conference. We will also soon begin working on music for the Franklin Graham Festival on April 25-27. We are planning a choir outing to the Cumberland County Playhouse to see First Baptist of Ivy Gap on April 19. K-6 choir will begin preparing for their next concert each Wednesday at 6pm I also want to encourage the Glenwood Youth to let me know what they would like to do concerning participating in the music program. Sandy and I are truly enjoying our time at Glenwood and feel the leadership of God and your support so much! HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD! Estel
